Opportunities Unlimited is proud to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a provider for the Assisted Living Pilot Program for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury (AL-TBI). This contract was awarded on May 4, 2011.

Under the terms of this contract, Opportunities Unlimited will provide long-term residential rehabilitative services for VA-enrolled Veterans with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. Veterans enrolled in the Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system who have served at any time and who have sustained a traumatic brain injury at any time may be eligible for services at Opportunities Unlimited.

The residential program at Opportunities Unlimited provides services to individuals with disabilities who are in need of support and supervision to carry out activities of daily living and to improve quality of life. General admission criteria for the residential program include: Must be 16 or older, must have sustained a brain injury, spinal cord injury and/or have a physical disability, must have funding source available for services.
