HCBS Outcomes

As of 2023, in OU's Hourly HCBS program, services were provided to 66 individuals: 44 Male 22 Female. 7 individuals 6-17; 52 individuals 18-40; 7 individuals 41-65.

83% - Caucasion, 2% - Native American, 3% - African American,91% - Hispanic, 3% - Asian

Opportunities Unlimited serves individuals on four HCBS Waivers; they are as follows:

  • Brain Injury 8%
  • Intellectual Disabilities 85%
  • Children’s Mental Health 2%
  • Health & Disability 5%
  • Private Pay 0%

OU began a Day Habilitation program in 2018. In 2023 Day Hab services were provided to 24 individuals: 19 Male and 5 Female. 7 individuals 6-17; 23 aged 18-40 and 1 aged 41-65.

In 2023, OU provided HCBS Home (Daily Services) to 10 individuals. 4 Male and 6 Female. 6 were aged 19-26 and 4 aged 27-35.

Results from the 2023 HCBS satisfaction survey:

  • In OU's HCBS hourly services program, 95% of persons served were satisfied or very satisfied with the services they receive from OU.
  • In OU's HCBS Home - 81% reported that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the services provided by Opportunities Unlimited.

Employment Services Outcomes

In our 2023 Employment Services program, services were provided to 47 individuals. 26 were Male and 21 Females. 42 aged 18-40 and 3 aged 41-65. Services accessed by individuals from OU's Residential program, HCBS Pre-Vocational Program, Supported Employment, LIFE Academy, Ticket to Work, and IVRS.

  • 6 - Residnetial Program, 25 - Supported Employment, 4 - LIFE Academy, 18 - IVRS

In OU's HCBS Employment Services program, 97% of persons served were satisfied or very satisfied with the services they receive from OU.
